Reporting Islam – Invitation to free Melbourne workshop

A Griffith University team led by Associate Professor Jacqui Ewart and Professor Mark Pearson has been funded by the Commonwealth Attorney-General’s Department to develop a suite of multi-media resources and training materials to assist journalists with their coverage of stories involving Islam and Muslim communities in the mainstream media. Working journalists and representative of media organisation are invited to a free workshop at the University of Melbourne on April 18, 2016.

The details of the workshop are:

Title:  “Reporting a Terror Arrest”

When: Monday, April 18, 2016 @ 12:30 pm – 2:30pm

Where: University of Melbourne  – Room 257, Old Arts Building (building 149)

Entry via Swanston Street, Royal Parade or Grattan Street
